Rolex introduced the Day-Date President in 1956. It was the first watch to feature the day of the week written in full at 12 o’clock along with the date window at 3 o’clock. And it came on the iconic ‘President’ bracelet which, till date, is made only in precious metals which is Gold and Platinum.
